For independent cafés, restaurants and pubs

Every Monday, know how your week really went.

Your till knows how your week went. Eira tells you.

Stop guessing how your week went.

Your week, read for you, every Monday.

See what's working in your venue, and what isn't.

Eira reads your sales from your till and your Google reviews. Every Monday it writes up your week: what you took against your usual, which days and dishes carried you, what customers said, and one thing worth trying next. We email you when it's ready and you read it on your phone.

“Jazz night on Thursday was brilliant, packed but the bar kept up. Espresso martinis were perfect.”

THIS WEEK'S MOVE
Make Thursday's jazz night a regular.
Why
  • Thursday took £1,021, £495 above its usual, from 57 sales against 27.
  • It's the second Thursday running, and a review this week names the jazz night.
  • Espresso martinis were your top earner: 29 sold.
Try: pick a regular Thursday, put it on your Google listing and a board outside, and run espresso martinis as the jazz-night special.
If it holds, that's about £2,000 a month. ESTIMATE

Yours to set

Tell Eira what's useful and it gives you more of that, or set it yourself. It changes what comes first in your report, never the numbers.

  • {{ r.name }}

Warnings always get through. If takings drop hard or the till misses a day, you'll hear about it whatever you've set.

HOW IT WORKS

Set it up once. Then your week comes to you.

Your first month's free and you don't need a card.

  1. 1GET STARTED

    Tell us about your venue.

Tap Get started and tell us your venue and which till you use. We'll take it from there.

  2. 2CONNECT

    Connect your till.

Connect SumUp after you sign up, or send us a spreadsheet of your sales from any other till once a week. Eira reads your sales, but it can't change anything on your till.

  3. 3FIRST MONDAY

    Your first report lands.

We check everything's set up right, and one of us reads your first report before we email you that it's ready. Your free month starts that day. After that it's £20 a month for each venue, no VAT added, or it just stops.

  4. 4MADE FOR YOU

It learns what you care about.

Tell it what's useful and what isn't, and it adjusts. Around week three, one of us will be in touch to see how it's going.

Get started Works with SumUp directly. On any other till, you send us a spreadsheet of your sales once a week. Tell us yours as you get started and we'll take it from there.

IN THE PLANWHERE EIRA'S GOING

One hub for the whole venue.

Right now, Eira reads your week. We're looking at what else it could take off your plate: bookings, the rota, the accounts, your paperwork and the daily checks. None of this is built yet. The idea is that Eira gets the job ready and you say yes or no.

A rota that keeps up.

If bookings jump, Eira suggests who to add, checks they're free and shows what it'll cost. A manager signs it off.

ACCOUNTING

Keep the money side straight.

Each morning Eira checks what hit the bank against what the till took. At the end of the month your accountant gets everything in one go.

  • Card payouts matched to the till, with anything odd explained
  • Supplier invoices checked against the prices you agreed, with queries drafted
  • What's in the bank and what's due out

Eira won't post to your books. Your accountant stays in charge of those.

The people using Eira decide what we build next. If you're on it, you get a say.

We've both worked in hospitality, and independent owners don't get listened to enough. So we build this with the people using it. We'll tell you straight what it can and can't do yet, and if you need us, ring. We'll pick up.

THE FOUNDERS

Independent owners deserve better than a generic report. So we built one about your place, as people who've done the job.

We're Saul and Zak, best mates for five years. We've both worked the floor in pubs, restaurants, hotel bars and events, and we've seen how little time owners get to step back and look at how they're doing. So Eira does the looking for you. It only ever compares you with your own weeks, never with anyone else. Saul's usually the one you'll meet, and you can ring either of us.

QUESTIONS

Any queries?

What owners usually ask us. If yours isn't here, get in touch below.

How much is it, really?

£20 a month for each venue, no VAT (we're not VAT-registered), and the first month's free. The free month starts the day we email you that your first report is ready, and you don't need a card to start. At day 30 you can add a card to keep going. If you don't, the reports just stop. We never charge you without you saying so.

I'm flat out. Will this take up my time?

Hardly any. Setup is a one-off: tell us about your venue and connect your till, and we check everything's working before your first report. After that, on SumUp there's nothing to do each week. On any other till, you send us one spreadsheet of your sales a week. When your report's ready, normally on a Monday, we email you a link and you read it on your phone. There's a quick check-in if you want to tell us something, but you don't have to.

Who actually writes my report?

Eira does. It's the system we built. It works out your numbers itself, only ever comparing you with your own recent weeks. Then it uses a writing tool from Anthropic, a company in the United States, to put your week into plain English, and checks the write-up against your numbers. One of us approves each report before we email you that it's ready. If something looks wrong, tell us and one of us will sort it. Our Privacy Policy explains what is sent and where.

My till already gives me reports. What's different?

Your till tells you what happened. Eira tells you what it means, and one thing worth trying. Most owners see their end-of-day totals, but not that Tuesday lunch has been down for a month, or that one dish isn't pulling its weight. That's the stuff we pick up.

Will it work with my till?

If you're on SumUp, Eira connects to it directly. On any other till, Epos Now included, it works as long as your till can export a spreadsheet of your sales: you send us one a week and we do the rest. Tell us your till when you get started and we'll take it from there.

Can Eira touch my money, or change anything?

No. It can't take payments, give refunds or change anything on your till. Eira reads your sales, your venue's public Google reviews (including the name each reviewer shows on Google) and any notes you leave for it, and uses them to write your reports and to improve Eira. Other venues never see your figures. You can disconnect whenever you like. Our Privacy Policy says exactly what we hold and why.

What if it's not for me?

No hard feelings. There's no lock-in. If you don't add a card at day 30, your reports stop and nothing is charged. If you have added a card, cancel any time from Settings or by email: no more payments are taken, and you keep Eira to the end of the month you've paid for. Either way, we keep your data for 6 months in case you come back, then delete it, or sooner if you ask.

It comes straight to us, and helps us build something you'd use.

Your first report, then one every Monday.

Get in touch today and connect your till. Once we've checked everything's working, your first report comes as soon as it's ready, and every Monday after that you'll see how your week actually went and what might be worth trying next.

You're the one doing the hard graft. You should have someone in your corner who listens and tells you straight.
